+ 28 DECEMBER 2004: D☆S PHOTOBOOK +
It's only been two weeks since the release of Daigo's DVD, SPACEY TV SHOW, and now I'm seeing a wonderful, wonderful news posted at his personal site www.daigo-stardust.com... it looks like Daigo has released a PHOTO BOOK!
I'm still in awe of this news that come out on December 24, just after the information about his X'mas Eve live show, and I'm still kind of (O.O) SKEPTICAL about it but anyway, it's written there:
Finally it's out! The long awaited photography book! Personally produced by Daigo, this 53-page photograph-only special book will bear the concept of angel and demon. [Est. Price: 2500 yen]

This is a limited release, I'm hoping his overseas fans (like me) can buy it too. I'll send an e-mail to him and ask him to consider us as well! OMYGOD! I'm just too shocked! I mean, I've been seeing Pierrot's PB, Miyavi's PB... AND NOW THERE'S NEWS OF A DAIGO PB AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET IT!!! And the pics in his official personal site seem to be included in his PB... HOW TO GET IT?! AIEEEE!!!
+ 20 DECEMBER 2004: SPACEY TV SHOW DVD +
Daigo's 1st DVD is absolutely fantastic!
The contents are as follows:
- Full-length PVs of MARIA, EIEN NO SPACE COWBOY, ROCK THE PLANET and DAISY
- Digest of his showcase in Shibuya
- A performance of SUMMER ROSE from said showcase
- Making of the PVs (divided into four parts) with his commentary
- A lesson on how to do the Daigo greeting, "Yatto, aeta ne!"
He also appears in the beginning of the DVD and at the end of the showcase digest segment to say his greeting. The LESSON of Daigo's greeting is positively cute, as in heart-melting, make-me-wanna-cuddle-him cute.

1st DVD: [ SPACEY TV SHOW ]

Contains PV, CM and various live performance digest from the time Daigo released his debut single [MARIA] until his latest [DAISY]. Contents may change by the time of its release, as the website warns, but it's safe to say we can expect at least the PVs.
However, there's still no information when he will release a second album (which I personally anticipate more than anything), or whether he will release it at all. In any case, DVD wo otanoshimini shitemasu!

I had the idea to enter the site and see what's up (mostly because I miss Zappy a lot; my November copy hasn't come yet because the shipments from Japan are coming in late this month to the bookstore) and clicked on all the sections in the site. Whaddya know, there's a Daigo interview in Daigo radio! (Plus a message from Takui, my other favorite J-rocker!)
I listened by copy-pasting the radio .asx URL into my Windows Media Player. At first I was able to listen to it very clearly but when I tried to listen to it again to translate some of the things in there it buffered a lot and I couldn't make out what they said.
But basically, what the host was saying to Daigo at first was whether he could ask Daigo a lot of questions about music and Daigo said, "That's OK! Ask anything you want!" And then he started asking Daigo about the double-titled single, [DAISY/SUMMER ROSE]. They talked about the various flowers used in the song titles (hey! I thought of that too! :P) and about the commemoration of his debut since a year ago. Daigo also said "Maria", rolling his Rs very clearly like in English, earlier in the interview. I think they then talked about David Bowie, which he claimed to have started listening at 15 years of age. Oh and at the end of the interview, Daigo invited the host to come to his "spacey house". I think.
Bwah, that's all I can make out from the choppy interview. But I hope this is enough info for you to imagine what's going on in it! ^^ Enjoy!
